Thanks for stopping by my new blog! I'm Cheryl - a stay at home mom with a passion for crochet. While my kids are napping, I'm crocheting. While my kids are playing nicely together, I'm crocheting. Waiting anywhere (i.e. doctor's office or for my daughter to be dismissed from school)...crocheting. While my husband's driving us somewhere...yep...yarn & hook in hand!
I can thank my late Grandma for starting this passion in me more than 25 years ago. According to my mom, my handwriting was terrible so she asked my grandmother to teach me some crafts that would improve my fine motor skills - it worked!
I love creating beautiful items from a simple ball of yarn (& sometimes wire & beads!). Hats, scarves, hair accessories, purses, blankets, jewelry - the possibilities are endless! All items are custom made so the customer can choose the colors, style & type of yarn. All items are made in my pet-free, smoke-free home. For now, you can find many photos of items I've made via my facebook business page. Search "A New Creation: Handmade Gifts" & "like" the page to receive updates and promotional offers. My plan is to add photos to this blog ASAP...but I'll admit I'm completely clueless about blogging so please bear with me as I learn.
